Ask a trans man is a work of love. I believe that many people don't ask questions because they are afraid of being judged, so I'm giving people a place to ask their questions anonymously from someone who has lived experience.
I'd rather have you asking me than AI or search the internet blindly. There’s a lot of good information there, don’t get me wrong, but there is also a lot of really, really problematic information that causes real-world harm.
Obviously, every post is based on my opinion as I am the “columnist”, however my opinions are based in lived experience and scientific research. When I do not have the answer, I will find it or find someone who has it. I’m good at research (thanks biomedical engineering degree!). If I use other people’s content in any way, it will be cited.
