My Approach and Experience
When I was a kid, people coded websites with html to make them big, bold, fun, and unique. Somewhere along the lines, we lost some of that. We're all trying to be professional.
Except, I'm not a very professional professional. Instead I'm just a silly man with too many weird skills and no fucks left to give. I needed a home for all of my professional creations but I hate basically every website builder (I've tried most of them) and most websites bore me.
I have been coding websites since 2017 and have done both hard coding and using templates (such as wordpress). The templates have gotten easier to use and more flexible in capabilities, but they all look the same with the same generic formats and functions. They just aren't practical for daily usage. It's frustrating.
So I built this website in a very 2000s kind of way. My marketing mentors would lecture me about the terrible branding, but I don't care. This site makes me happy, and that counts for a lot in this crazy world.
More importantly, this website is designed exactly the way I want it to be. And I can do that for you.
The best thing I got from my college education in biomedical engineering was the knowledge that I can learn to do anything. I will use that approach to help you get the website of your dreams.
